Meet the Team

Sean VanderVliet

After nearly 15 years of throwing pottery as a hobby and in school, in 2017 Sean VanderVliet founded Fenway Clayworks and made the jump to become a full time ceramic artist. The goal of Fenway has been the same since the beginning— to make beautiful, functional ceramics worthy of a place in one's home; ceramics that people can enjoy over time and pass on for generations to come.

The Team

Jessie Concannon

Production Assistant/Wearer of Hats

Jessie joined the team as a studio assistant and has since taken on many tasks, coming to be known as the swiss army knife of the team. When off the clock, she enjoys skiing, singing, and skating, in no particular order. Check out her pottery here.

William Duvall

Production Potter and Manager

A self-described mud slinger from Maryland who believes everyone has an art. His is pottery. Willy is a lifelong learner and spent the past few years traveling around the world to learn from other potters and artists - most recently to Japan. Follow him here.

Gus Moeller

Woodworking Lead

A true lumber savant, Gus joined us from the slopes of Jackson Hole, WY. When not turning lamps and making trays, Gus enjoys rock climbing and playing one of the many instruments he's mastered.

Peter Bonn

Woodworker

When not skiing or making a damn good cup of coffee, Peter brings years of woodworking and furniture making experience to Fenway. Check out his rendering and design work here.

Nala

After a short and unfulling career as a duck hunter, Nala decided she didn't like the loud noises. She chose a more creative route and now facilitates operations at Fenway by napping, barking at delivery folks, and finding her ball.
